Christian Home Based Business Success Principles & Mentoring - Part 3

The bible teaches us that to come into a deeper fellowship with the Lord he brought us into a work partnership with Him. Go back to the garden Gods fellowship with Adam began in the garden as He discussed the work the He had for Adam. To fully understand the Father we need to be about the Fathers business. Your relationship with the Lord will deepen as you work in unity with Him to accomplish His will.
Great, what does that have to do with my Christian Home Business? Simply, God has given you the work that you must accomplish within your Christian Home Based Business. This work will create success in your business as well as this work will allow you to pour yourself into the lives of others. As you grow and develop your Christian Home Based Business you will be deepening your relationship with those on your team.
Investing in people is a biblical principle that must be followed to create true success in your Christian Home Business. You will be called to lead and the way you lead will govern your business future. Leading with the Heart of a servant just as Christ came and gave us that example during His earthly ministry. Matthew 20:28 reads, "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give His life as a ransom for many."
Now you will not have to give your life per say but, you must give of your life. In your Christian Home Based Business you must give of yourself to help teach, train and develop those that are part of your team. As you go about the work of your Christian Home Business you will begin to grow deeper in relationship with those whom you are working with. Through those relationships you will be a blessing and be blessed.
As we learned in part two , we are to be stewards of our Christian Home Based Business . The parable in Luke taught us that, those who can manage little more will be added unto them. When you first begin you must treat your business as though it is already large, you must manage the little to allow for the increase.

Christian Home Business Principles & Christian Mentoring - Part 2

Friends we are held accountable as stewards for our business. Throughout the gospels as well as the rest of the Bible we are shown time and time again the principle of stewardship. We briefly discussed stewardship in your Christian Home Business in part one of this article series. Often I am asked what does stewardship involve. Stewardship is governed by the principle of how we handle the gifts, talents and provisions that the Lord has given us.
We can learn a lot about stewardship for your Christian Home Business in the parable taught be Jesus in Luke 19:12-27. Refer to the bible for the entire parable, I will paraphrase this portion of scripture.
The parable is that of a ruler who left to take control over another kingdom. While he was gone he left some business or property with ten different slaves to be stewards of his business while he was away. Upon his return he ordered that three of the slaves who had stewardship to be brought to him to show what they have done.
The first slave said, "Master, your mina has made 10 more." The master said well done because you have been faithful in little I give you authority over 10 cities." The second slave came before him and said, "Master, your mina has made 5 more." The master said, well done because you have faithful in little I give you authority over 5 cities."
The third slave said, "Master, here is your mina, I have hid it away because I was afraid of you." The master replied, "Take the mina from him and give it to the one who has ten minas. To him who has more will be given and to him who does not have even what he has will be taken."
Wow! This is a tough truth. We as Christians in our home business are given stewardship over our business, over our time we put into it, over our mentoring to our team and every aspect of it. What can we take from this parable?
We are held accountable for our relationships with our team, we are held accountable for our talents given by the Lord and we are held accountable for our possessions. The Truth is all these things are on loan from God. Growth in our home business and our lives is rooted in responsibility. What have you done to increase your personal and spiritual development? Have you evaluated the gifts and talents the Lord has given you?
Your Christian business will grow based upon your stewardship of your resources and talents. From the parable we can see that if God has called you into your business He will provide and increase for those that are being stewards according to His will. Please understand I am not talking about prosperity preaching or anything like that I am speaking biblical Truth that the Lord will bless you according to His will in accordance with scripture.

Christian Home Business Principles & Christian Mentoring For Success In Christian Business - Part One

Business success, is this for the Christian Home Business person? When approaching your business who gets the Glory. Do you boast in yourself or Glorify in the blessings of the Lord praising Him for giving you stewardship over a successful business.
Christian Home Business people have to approach their business with the idea and understanding that the business they are involved with truly belongs to God and not that of themselves. Many get entrapped into the motivational personal development of these industries and are prone to pride and self exultation. My warning is approach your Christian Home Business with the correct heart understanding that this too really belongs to God.
We are called into vocation or business to be going about The Fathers business. Our business is His business. We are called into our business as believers in Christ just as Christ Jesus was called to go about His Fathers business. Luke 2:49 Jesus Said, "Why were you searching for Me? Didn't you know I that I must be about my Fathers business?" Christian Home Based business is like any other part of our lives and should be looked at as a platform for the world to Glorify God as we go about the works of a Home Business.
Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and Glorify your Father in Heaven." What a principle to take into your home business and how contrary is this to the world? Jesus, said that we are to let our light shine so that our Father in Heaven receives the Glory! Not that we get the Glory but that He receives it. Success in the business world just as success in your marriage, your ministry, your church, your family as well as all successes in life should be rooted in a foundation that Glorifies God for that Success.
Remember as you approach the business building activities that are required to build a successful Christian Home Business take note of your desires and make sure they are in line with the Word Of God. Material ownership and stewardship of property was ordained by God. Things of this world are not bad although, as a Christian Home Business owner we must make sure our hearts are in line with the Word of God.

So You Think You Are An Entrepreneur?

As I sat at the restaurant the other day with some business associates a question was posed. Are you born an entrepreneur? My attempt here is to outline a few observations. First, something inside you begins to become restless, as though you have awakened a giant within you. It may start as a little stirring in your soul until one day you are ready to explode.

Many of us walk through life with dreams, goals and aspirations of success, either to work for ourselves, work from home, make money online or create a business from scratch and be involved with all aspects of this development. This voice or stirring to be great and do great things is either welcomed or has the door slammed. I have witnessed many who slam the door as opportunity for greatness is waiting to be welcomed. My take is we are all born with greatness and all born to be an entrepreneur. I believe God has instilled in us, the very being of creating and managing. Many of our fellow would be entrepreneurs are told they can't, they won't, why bother, who do you think you are, you don't deserve to have success and the list goes on.

Eventually they believe the voices of the others rather than the voice inside. Where do you find yourself today? Are you living the dream that you had just a few short years ago? Or have you found yourself slamming the door on the voice that is aching for greatness. An observation made is that it is never to late to be that entrepreneur you so desire. Until the next time.

I'll See You At The Top
